2020 council nominee bios

Penny Eaton. My family and I have lived in Olathe for the past 13 years; I have been married to Mark for 20 years. I own a cleaning business, Lucky Penny’s Cleaning. Mark is part owner and tax manager at Ifft and Company and has been with the firm for over 25 years. Our son, Jackson, is 18 and graduating this year from Olathe North. He was in the 21st century program Sports Medicine. In the fall he will be attending Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska and will be studying Exercise Science to become a physical therapist.

Keith Neuman. Ricki and I have been members of Atonement for over 30 yrs. During that time, I have assisted in Sunday school, confirmation, call committee as well as some church technology Keith Neuman. improvements. We have raised our four children at Atonement; Eric, ‘Miss Erin’, Emily and Evan. We miss our five grandchildren who live far away in New Mexico. I have been working at IBM Corp for the past 37 years in various sales positions. Outside interests include many roles in Scouts BSA over the past several decades, Service, Purdue Sports, and until recently, travel.

Ashley Swan. I am a lifelong Lutheran, becoming a member of Atonement in 2017 with my husband, Scott, and children; I’m originally from the Wichita, KS area. All three of our children have been baptized at Atonement: August (5), Frances (3) and Rosemary (6 mo). I am an active member of the Transition team, leading the Communication Team, as well as helping drive some of our recent efforts to set up our YouTube Channel and live streaming, and provide strategy in our social media communication efforts and technology evolution. My older children enjoy attending Sunday School and my husband and I enjoy Parents Night Out, provided by the Atonement nursery! I work at Cerner as a Sr. Engagement Owner, helping plan and facilitate Cerner solutions implementations for their clients. I’ve worked in digital Project Management for 14 years and hold a Masters Degree in Information and Library Sciences from Emporia State University. My hobbies include remodeling our house with Scott, genealogy research and traveling to Sweden to visit my sister and family
