Creating a Household Giving Plan

A regular response is a core principle of being a servant of Christ, a steward. This means graciously receiving and then sharing a portion of God’s blessing with others. One way to put this into practice Is by creating an annual Household Giving Plan.

This process invites us to think about three things:
  1. What do you treasure?
  2. What is your heart telling you?
  3. How does what you treasure shape your response?

A Household Giving Plan can start with three steps:
  1. Making a list of the causes and organizations to which you give.
  2. Reviewing how much you have given to each in the past.
  3. Determining where you will give in the year ahead.
