All are welcome to worship at Atonement. You’ll find our worship services follow Lutheran liturgy, with the addition of a variety of musicians and hymn styles. Dress can be anything from casual (jeans) to dresses and suits – so come as you are comfortable. Parents and children are encouraged to attend worship together, along with friends and neighbors. Should it be one of those mornings when sitting still is just too challenging, we offer a crib room and a staffed nursery north of the sanctuary for children up to age 5, or parents can sit with their children in the lobby, where they can hear and follow the services together.
We offer three worship services each week: Saturday evening at 5:00pm, and Sunday mornings at 8:30am and 11:00am, each service lasting about one hour. There are special services at certain times of the church year, so please check this site or our church newsletter for specific dates and times.
There are opportunities for involvement on art teams; in music through solos, handbells, choirs and instrumental ensembles; as dancers; caring for the chancel area; serving communion and the list goes on. If you would like more information, please contact Rick Deasley, Director of Worship Life, or check out the opportunities on the Worship Ministry Opportunities here or the Worship Music Opportunities pages here.
