All churches grow old, but strategic churches are growing young. Churches are both shrinking and aging as more young people disengage. Are children and young people distancing themselves from the church building, church family, and/or their faith? We want to look closely at how we can keep them interested and invested in Christian faith and church life. Based on groundbreaking research with over 250 of the nation’s leading congregations, Growing Young provides a roadmap with 6 strategies any church can use to involve and nurture the faith of young people. It profiles innovative churches engaging 15- to 29-year-olds that are growing–spiritually, emotionally, missionally, and numerically. Packed with ideas, Growing Young shows churches how to position themselves to reach younger generations in a way that breathes life into the whole church, the body of Christ.
