Our little ones praying Sunday morning...so sweet! ...

We don't always realize what a few minutes of our time - a simple gesture - can mean to someone else. We received the following from the staff at Journey to New Life about the Christmas cards that we signed in December . . .

I wanted to let you know how much the Christmas cards were appreciated by everyone who received them. The women in the houses couldn't believe someone would go out of their way to write cards to them, and the men at KCRC (Kansas City Reentry Center) were simply amazed. One gentleman had been in prison 22 years, and had never received a Christmas card! The guys in prison really don't have paper or pens to write thank-you notes, but they were so grateful. Atonement may have meant the cards to be a simple gift, but the men view them as a treasure.

And the Bibles . . . in the houses, the Bibles are disappearing quickly. Initially, Sister Gabe was only putting out a few at a time, but they were disappearing so quickly she finally made space on the bookshelf to put all of them out!

Thank you for sending such beautiful and generous gifts! We can make a difference in the lives of others!
